Deez, hey this is Todd Breiner answering your question, Why do people seem to get more mean after they become a Christian? There is not really a good answer for that question, because that is not what Jesus teaches Christians to do. However I am sure that almost anyone alive can think of a mean Christian. Deez I am sure that you are speaking from experiences that you have had with mean Christians. What I would like to do is share with you some teachings of Jesus about how Christians are supposed to act.
He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Luke 10:27
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
While this may not help answer why some Christians are mean it should help you understand how Christians are supposed to act and behave.
