I serve at a church that supports charismatic doctrines...

This is Todd Breiner here, and I chose to answer your post because I too am involved in youth ministry and I recently was involved in a situation very similar to this. Where a youth worker held different doctrine from their church and did not agree with the direction the church was going. I advised that youth worker to find another church.

If you are opposed to the doctrines that your church teaches, you should seriously consider switching churches. Even though you as a youth worker may be teaching what you believe to be proper doctrine, once those students leave the youth ministry they will be bombarded with doctrine that you believe to be false. Simply if you don't believe in the direction or the doctrine of the church it would be unhealthy for you to be there.

Maybe this verse will help...

Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
1 Timothy 4:16
