Hey Tammy!
Pastor Eric writing here…
In the Old Testament (OT), God commanded the people to rest on the Sabbath, and it was Saturday. The day was a day of rest.
The only one of the ten-commandments in the OT not repeated in the NT is to “keep the Sabbath holy.” Because of Christ, every day is holy. Every day can be used to worship God. Because God lives within us. The early Christians worshipped on Sunday because it was the day Christ was raised from the dead. They were remembering that weekly. We worship as a family on Sunday and Saturday. So if you like the OT more, come on Saturday! (joking)

Thanks for the answer, Eric...now I can give an intelligent response when people give me their opinions about my attending church on Saturdays.
